Matera D'Anna grew up with a passion for writing and filmmaking. She started her professional filmmaking journey in 2023, when she started her academic career at The Savannah College of Art and Design; With a major in Film and a minor in Dramatic writing. Since then, she has written and directed films like "Gas Station Sushi", "Earth angels", "Out like a light", and many more. She is based in New York City, Westchester NY, and Savannah, Georgia.
