Matera D'Anna grew up with a passion for writing and filmmaking. She started her professional filmmaking journey in 2022, winning the award for academic achievement in IB film and creative writing in High School. She went on to attend The Savannah College of Art and Design majoring in Film and Television production. Since then, she has written and directed films like "Gas Station Sushi" & "Earth angels", as well as producing and editing other student and independent films. She is based in New York City, Westchester NY, and Savannah, Georgia.
